Framing – Photography Composition

                               This post is part of our Rules of Composition in Photography series.

                               Framing is simply using other objects in your photograph to frame the main subject. This is probably one of the easier composition techniques in photography. Framing brings more depth to the picture and a better focus on what the main subject is.

                            The art of long exposure photography is a stunning way to capture your environment in a surreal way. It’s one of the only photographic styles that gives you the creative control to transform a scene in a way that is not visible to the human eye.

Whether your subject is seascapes, astrophotography, or simply experimental – long exposures require an added set of rules to retain image sharpness throughout the entire exposure. If you find that your photographs are still not sharp – even with a tripod – there may be other elements at play that are adding some unwanted camera shake.

Judul : Stricken Child Crowling Towards a Food Camp

Foto yang mendapatkan penghargaan bergengsi Pulitzer ini diambil pada tahun 1994 saat bencana kelaparan berlangsung di Sudan. Foto tersebut menggambarkan seorang bocah yang merangkak untuk sampai ke kamp Perserikatan Bangsa-Bangsa (PBB) yang letaknya beberapa kilometer dari tempat tersebut.
Tidak ada seorang pun yang tahu nasib anak tersebut, termasuk Carter yang mengabaikannya setelah mengabadikan foto tersebut.

Carter kemudian bunuh diri tiga bulan setelahnya karena depresi.
